Why we don't blog
We all die and we get one comment. Seriously? Come on people
This past week we all died. Chancy was in a fatal car crash, No one has any idea what happened to Jesse, Joey died of a heart attack, Peter was beat to death by some girls he owed money to, Quin annoyed the wrong mob boss, and my kindergarten class started their own society and sacrificed me to their new god. All in all it's been an eventful week.
Sue is really computer illiterate and Peter just plain quit blogging. So now they are at Auntie Ann's house and she is blogging for them. School has already started for Sue. She has quite an active PM class this year so it won't be nearly as nice a year as last year.
They are working on painting and recarpeting the house. Peter's room is almost done. We call it the Cougar Den because it is dark, dark blue and only has a very small window. It really looks pretty good. Sue bought wallpaper for the kitchen but the boys vetoed it so she will have to put it in her bedroom or someplace without boys (which is no where at Sue's house). They think the colors are too girly and the butterflies make it too lame, even though it is mostly white with bugs on it. Peter came with us to the furniture store so that Sue wouldn't pick out girly furniture. They ended up with a black leather couch with dual recliners and a tan reclining chair. They are putting wood flooring in the kitchen and Joe picked out fishing motif wallpaper for his room. We will try to post pictures when all is done but that will probably be a good long while. Jesse doesn't get a room because he is going back to college in a few weeks. He is thrilled that he got to give his two weeks notice to ShopKo, but he did decide to work for them over Christmas break because he will make good money. Jesse thinks this is an incredibly boring blog, so I am sorry to have put you all though this. Jesse has started wearing cool hats and so Quin is stealing them so he can look cool too. He thinks hats is a boring subject too.
Sue has gotten several interesting calls lately. One was from Joey. He started with, "Mom, there is a cop here who needs to talk to you. Don't get mad." After that kind of introduction you can guess she was a bit nervous. It seems that Joey and his friends had climbed over a fence with no trespassing signs (at the Old Mill) just to look around. The cop was very nice and let them all go with just a warning after talking to their parents. Then she got a call from an Idaho Falls Emergency Room. Chancey had been with his friends in Yellowstone and got a concussion playing racquetball. She is just hoping for a little less excitement.
We hope you haven't all given up on this blog and that someone really checks it. Please leave comments to encourage the slothful souls at this site.
Our family is pretty busy right now but that's better than idle. Jesse is at Snow college and loving not having to spend as much time in class. He just found out he could get a loan and qualifies for work study so didn't have to keep a job he was dreading. He was going to be doing surveys by phone. Can any of us image him doing that? Joey is wrestling , working and going to school. He took first in his weight in his JV tournament yesterday. Peter is working , going to school and playing basketball for his junior high team. They won their game yesterday. He got a steal and should have had two assists but the other player missed the layups. Quin is going to school and playing Jr Jazz basketball as point guard. Luckily he had a bye yesterday but did win his first game. He scored six points in that game.
